This Privacy Policy describes how Goodness500, Inc. (“Goodness500”) treats the information we collect from our users (“Users”) that use or enroll in the services provided through our website, (the “Site”), or who otherwise make use of the Site. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Site. By using the Site or otherwise doing business with us, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We may collect non-public information (“NPI”) that can identify you. NPI may include, but may not be limited to, your name, your telephone number, mailing address and e-mail address. In addition, we may collect demographic information, including, but not limited to, your gender.
In addition, when you use the Site, we may collect technical and navigation information such as internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data. We may use NPI that Users provide in order to provide matching of, and to facilitate referrals between, Users, Goodness500, sponsors, and advertisers. We may also use NPI to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls, surveys, message boards, and forums.
Your IP address and information regarding the web pages you visit on the Site, or that linked to the Site, may also be used to gather high-level information regarding our Users’. This information may be used, for example, to alert you to software compatibility issues, or it may be analyzed to improve the Site’s design and functionality. Goodness500 may share aggregated information regarding Users’ industries, product usage or traffic patterns for marketing purposes with other organizations, but these statistics will not include NPI. Except as noted below, your NPI will not be shared with other organizations for marketing purposes without your consent.
We may share NPI with: (a) our advertisers; (b) third parties who develop and deliver targeted advertising on the Site, on websites of third parties, or by other means and© service providers with whom we contract, including those who host and maintain the Site and fulfillment companies who distribute our materials. We may combine NPI we collect with additional information collected from other sources. We may also share aggregated information with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. Except as otherwise disclosed in this Privacy Policy, Goodness500 does not disclose NPI to any third party, except for the purpose of providing services to Users.
NPI you provide to us through the Site may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world. Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
We also reserve the right to disclose NPI in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of Goodness500’s terms and conditions or other agreements or as otherwise required or permitted by law. If Goodness500 merges with or is acquired by another organization, or if its assets are sold to another organization, your NPI will be acquired by that organization.
If you submit NPI, or other personal information, to any of our forums, message boards or other areas of the Site that can be accessed by others (such as in questions, comments, postings, listserves, email threads or other such places), then your submissions will be public and Goodness500’s privacy obligations will no longer apply. If you submit NPI directly to one of our service providers, advertisers or to another member of the Goodness500, then such submissions are governed by the recipient’s terms and privacy policy and not that of Goodness500.
We take reasonable security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your NPI from unauthorized access and disclosure. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take reasonable steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your NPI, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. You should also take care with how you handle and disclose your personal information and should avoid sending personal information through insecure e-mail.
Goodness500 provides methods of updating your information and contact preferences. Goodness500 does not accept any obligation to update or correct your information on its own initiative. Users are responsible to keep all user information current. You may update your information and contact preferences online.
Goodness500 provides links allowing you to access third party websites. We are not responsible for the content that appears on those sites and do not endorse these sites. Please consult those sites’ individual privacy policies in order to determine how they treat user information. You should check the privacy policy describing how the owners or operators of those external websites manage your personally identifiable information obtained at such third party sites as it could differ from the way Goodness500 manages your NPI.
This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties or require disclosure of any NPI relating to users of the Site.
Goodness500 may revise or amend this policy at any time at our sole discretion. If we make any material changes, as determined by Goodness500, in the way in which NPI is collected, used or transferred, we will notify you of these changes by modification of this Privacy Policy, which will be available for review by you at the Site. Notwithstanding any modifications we may make, any NPI collected by Goodness500 from you will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy in effect at the time the NPI was collected, unless we obtain your consent otherwise.
